Delete your data.
Last updated: July 17, 2026
What’s Happening Southern Utah (“WHSU”) lets you use the app without an account. Instead of a login, your saves and preferences are tied to an anonymous ID created on your device. You can permanently delete everything tied to that ID — and any subscription details you gave us — at any time, using either option below.
What gets deleted
- Your email and phone number — the newsletter / SMS-alert subscription you created in the app or on this site, including the copy stored in our email/CRM system.
- Saved items and follows — bookmarked events, deals, businesses, and activities.
- Notification data — your push-notification registration, reminders, and tee-time alerts.
- Giveaway entries — any giveaway entry or prize-claim record tied to your device.
- Your anonymous device identity — the ID itself and everything keyed to it, on our servers and on your device.
We do not keep a shadow copy. Aggregate, non-identifying analytics (counts and trends that are not linked back to you) may remain.
Option 1 — In the app (instant)
Open the app and go to Profile → Delete my data. Confirm, and everything above is erased immediately from your device and our servers. No email or waiting required. This is the fastest option if you still have the app installed.
Option 2 — By email request
If you subscribed on this website, have uninstalled the app, or would rather we handle it, email us and we’ll erase your data for you:
Send it from the email address you subscribed with (or tell us that address) so we can confirm the request is really yours. We verify ownership, then delete your data — including your contact details in our email/CRM system — within 30 days, and email you when it’s done.
